Several weird things have happened since I got Eye of the North, and one of the main things I've noticed is a weird glitch when I highlight Hayda. See below.

Yeah..... I have no idea why this is happening, and it's only happening with Hayda. No one else can see it, it's just me.

Another issue would be the crap that happens when I'm in Asuran or Ebon Vanguard explorable areas. This stuff only happens in these areas mind you, no where else in the game. One of the big things is that parts of the UI will disappear at random, health bars, energy, everything will just fade out and then pop back up again. The other part is that when walking around random renders will flash on the screen, and certain parts of the landscape will disappear.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Its a recent art bug. I've been seeing it happen with certain Eye of the North armors in the last week or so. I didn't realize it happened with Hayda's face until I read your post... but sure enough. But yeah its totally a game bug. I bet you're glad to hear your video card isn't dead or something.

Whoever told you they can't see it either didn't understand the method you use to make it happen or they probably didn't have the hardware to see the new Eye of the North shaders in the first place (which is probably where the bug is).

As for terrain vanishing in Asura and Vanguard areas, I don't know, I haven't seen it happen. It may very well be another symptom of the same bug, though.

Oh thank god, now I can stop obsessing over why it's happening and start playing the game again. Thanks for that.
